Finally, after more than a decade, the veteran Haitian Band, RAM, releases a new studio album after a decade that is entitled, Manman m Se Ginen (My Mother is Guinean), and it's pure gold.

The modernization of "mizik rasin " isn't something that I was expecting , but it was quite the pleasant surprise. The record is infused with Rara, Konpa, Soul, Jazz, old school rock just to name a few; the resulting product is a unique blend of African Rooted music with western music.
