Business is always personal
I am sure that you have heard or read the idea that, "Never personal, it's only business". However, I reject the preceding notion because the very essence of business is relation, and relationship is always personal.
In setting up a business, you are promising your client to deliver greater value than your competitors.
Therefore, you are trying to persuade them that your products/services will bring them more benefit than any other competitors in your targeted market.
Upon establishing such a promise, your customers are expecting for you to always satisfy their needs. Just imagine, people are spending their hard earned money on your product and services; so, anything that does not go accordingly, you have to be able to make it right in order to remain in business.
As business owner or entrepreneur, your company is a creation that is similar to a child. You spend time and make great sacrifices in order to develop it and keep it productive. Anything that can harm your business becomes a direct attack on your personality, ego and family.
As a result, your "Business Is Always Personal". It is personal to your customers, and it is mostly personal to you as a businessperson, who have dedicated time and money to turn your dreams into reality.
Therefore, always make your business personal because the minute that your business's personality is lost, you are not respecting the promises that you made to yourself as well as your customers.
Until next, remain innovative and productive!
