Success does not come easily! You need to work harder everyday in order to achieve and maintain your goals. This is a very valuable lesson that Dj Scripz (Dr. Romulus) had to incorporate into his lifestyle as he has been promoting his award winning Documentary film "The Haitian Polo Documentary".

The nature of the documentary film is very informative and historical. If you resided in the United States and were into Hip Hop culture, therefore, you knew the influence that the "Polo Ralph Lauren' brand had on the culture.

For almost three years, DJ Scripz has been working tirelessly to bring awareness to his project "The Haitian Polo Documentary", which is a narrative of the struggle that young Haitians endured during the 80s and 90s before they were accepted into the American culture.

The film has gained Dj Scripz a lot of recognition in the film & Hip Hop industries, but this acknowledgements did not come in easily. The young producer had to dive into the business world and network with different people: Executives, Brand ambassadors, PR, marketing and prospective customers, etc...

Therefore, media platforms such as Tribeca Film Festival, Hot97, Thisis50, Power105.1, Haitian Movie Awards, and BET featured the film in recognition of its historical value to the Hip Hop culture as well as Africans.

Last weekend, the film has gone as far as obtaining an exclusive feature and Q&A (Question & Answer) on Hip Hop Film Festival, which is a form of advancement for the producer.

When we asked DJ Scripz about the influence for his project, he simply replied that he wanted to keep history of his people alive [Both Haitian and African]. The foundation of his success is always based on the acceptance of his people. Once the people can relate to it, then it is a success!
